Objectives
- to utilize Tampere-based research expertise in new projects that produce knowledge at the international forefront and new business activity in relation to content or structure in the region
- to ensure close cooperation between various stakeholders and a cross-disciplinary approach in various research areas
- to increasingly better understand the role of people as users of technology
- to produce information technology for people – technology that promotes interaction and functions as a human interface to the knowledge society
- to create technology that enhances the equality of citizens in accordance with eTampere’s core philosophy
- engine programmes: neoreality, broadband data communications, perception of information, adaptive software components, user interfaces
