eTampere office

The eTampere programme consists of a network of independent modules, each of which is responsible for a specific area. To ensure communication and co-ordination of functions between various parties, the programme have its own office.

The entire programme is coordinated by the eTampere office, which promotes networking for the sub-programmes by creating opportunities for them to find partners.

The eTampere office is responsible for the programme´s communications and marketing and it builds channels for participation by citizens. It participates in setting up new development projects, it organises various seminars and get-together events, and acts as a secretary for the steering group and the executive committee.

Executive committee
Policy-making for and monitoring of the practical work is carried out by the executive committee.

Steering group
The programme´s steering group acts as its strategic visionary and the supervisior of its operations. The steering group comprises representatives from the region´s research and educational establishments, companies, financiers and the City of Tampere.

The office locates on the premises of a strategic development company
owned by the city.
