International eTampere
eTampere has also been showcased at numerous events well beyond the bounds of Tampere and Finland, and tangible cooperation has been conducted in several international projects. Hundreds of representatives from different countries have travelled to Tampere to familiarize themselves with the eTampere programme.

The programme’s target was to achieve approximately EUR 10.3 million of EU funding for its projects. By the end of June 2005 the target had been generously exceeded with EU funding totalling EUR 16 million.
