eTampere in many networks
eTampere’s aims included bringing together various players to generate multi-disciplinary and versatile discussion, transferring experience and generating new knowledge and novel cooperation. eTampere played a part in the emergence and activities of a number of new networks which have been of benefit to companies, research institutions, government players and citizens.
One of eTampere’s aims was to bring together different players to raise rich cross-disciplinary discussion, to exchange experiences and to create new knowledge and a new kind of cooperation. eTampere was involved in the creation of many new networks and activities. All these networks have been of benefit to business, government, citizens and research institutes.
Examples of networks:
eTampere’s Working Committee: an active network that assembled at least once a week between 2001 and 2005 for discussion, to share information and to come up with new ideas.
eTampere’s Steering Group: a network which also comprised representatives of the Council of Tampere Region, Tekes, Tampere Chamber of Commerce & Industry and several companies.
TYK trainers: computer and data network trainers in Tampere who are responsible for basic guidance in the use of a computer, for example.
